A healthy diet and exercise regimen must be maintained to ensure successful treatment results. Who is not suitable candidate for Aqualyx® Fat Dissolving injections? AQUALYX® is not recommended if you are suffering from acute or chronic skin disease in the affected area. It should only be used in people aged 18 – 60 years. Also as it is a sugar based preparation hence it is not recommended for diabetics. Is there any downtime? Your skin may be slightly red and tender straight after the treatment and bruising or swelling can occur. We recommend you avoid any strenuous exercise for 7 days. Is it safe? After the intradermal therapy session, avoid massage, ultrasound and hair removal procedures to the treated areas for at least 24 hours. Avoid applying creams or other products unless after consulting with Injector Maya.   After the session and for a few days, do not expose yourself to the sun and UVA rays to avoid spots corresponding to the micro-lesions produced by the needle. It is good to know that the repair of these micro-lessons involves a slight inflammation that increases the skin’s sensitivity to solar radiation with an increase in pigmentation. Is mesotherapy painful? Pain perception is different in treated skin regions, and it also depends on the individual sensitivity. However, the discomfort is often well-tolerated. The mesotherapy treatment is performed by using a very small needle and is not a particularly uncomfortable process. How long does a mesotherapy session last? Usually, an intradermal therapy session lasts from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the extent and number of areas to be treated. Are there any contraindications to mesotherapy? An absolute contraindication to mesotherapy is the chances of allergy to the ingredients of the solution to be injected. The modest volume of the compound used for each injection causes a tiny swelling in the dermis, destined to disappear in a few hours. At the injection sites local reactions may occur due to the microtrauma caused by the needle, as well as the chemical-physical and biochemical activity of the drug. The client can develop erythema (redness); slight bleeding; bruising or minor bruises; infrequent local infectious complications. These reactions subside naturally in a few days without leaving any marks on the skin.

Clients who have blood clotting disorders, take anticoagulants, have open wounds, skin lesions, cancer, autoimmune diseases, unregulated chronic diseases, scarring tendencies, recent injuries in the treated area, active diseases and acute infections (such as flu, and cold – wait 2 weeks, measles, etc. – wait 2-3 months). This treatment is not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. What are the types of threads used in our clinic?
